Chamber orchestra New Era Orchestra appeared on the Kiev musical horizon last year, but already now it is possible to speak bravely about it as the generated division on struggle against musical ignorance and the academic stagnancy. Tatyana Kalinichenko supervises over it – the girl with tenacious mind, strong character, an accurate conductor's wave and ability rigidly to follow the taken course. In orchestra work two directions are distinctly looked through: the first – the best samples of the newest music (the majority of executions – the Ukrainian premiers), the second – in every possible way modified under possibilities of chamber tool structure of the classic.

Кульминацией вечера стало выступление латвийской скрипачки Яны Озолини – прирожденной солистки и тонкого проводника в немеркнущие красоты Концерта соль минор Антонио Вивальди. В «Цветущем жасмине» своего земляка Георгса Пелециса, а также «Хорале и Фуге» Астора Пьяццоллы она отдала пальму первенства партнеру – заметно приободрившемуся к концу вечера Андрею Пушкареву. В этих сочинениях, а также в транскрипции баховского Концерта ля минор соло Пушкарева были столь виртуозны, тембр вибрафона настолько сладок, а переживания любой сыгранной им фразы такими выразительными, что каждый выход артиста поклонники встречали вставанием.
Кто и мог состязаться с ним в экстатичности, так это лишь дирижер Татьяна Калиниченко. Незримая во время аккомпанементов (превосходное качество для дирижера), в сочинениях для оркестра она раскрывалась во всю широту своего темперамента. С молниеносными переворотами партитурных страниц и с шумными возгласами радости почти после каждой сыгранной части. Публика охотно поддавалась на провокации и не скупилась на аплодисменты.

New Era Orchestra — один із наймолодших оркестрів Києва. Він заявив про себе рік тому. Але завдяки творчій енергії художнього керівника й диригента Тетяни Калініченко (вона також диригент Національного президентського оркестру України) назва цього колективу асоціюється з чимось хорошим. Його "політика" спрямована на те, аби не залишити байдужим слухача. Тому оркестр переважно береться за виняткові музичні партитури, віддаючи перевагу таким, які в Україні ще не звучали.

11 листопада в Національній філармонії України в рамках культурного проекту «Арт-колекція «Вавілон» пройшов концерт камерного оркестру New Era Orchestra.
New Era Orchestra замітили ще на Гогольfest-2008, де в прекрасній акустиці «Мистецького Арсеналу» вони представили окрім іншого чудову і чарівну Capriol Suite (1926 р.) англійського композитора Пітера Уорлока. Тоді, під зводами, стилізація під ренесансну музику сприймалася якось зовсім особливо, і враження від молодого оркестру залишилося дуже приємне.
«Квітучий жасмин» Пелециса не даремно був залишений «на десерт» концерту. У ніжному обрамленні струнних сильне скрипкове соло Яни Озоліні (Kremerata Baltika) і грайливо-несерйозний віброфон Андрія Пушкарьова звучали гармонійно і красиво. Власне, цей твір знаменитого мінімаліста в Україні до вчора не чули. Як, втім, і Violoncelles, vibrez! Джованні Салліми, в якому складні віолончельні соло майстерно виконали Святослав Боровик і Ігор Пацовський. Публіка – оцінила: в Україні не дуже часто можна почути авангардну «сучасну класику» середини ХХ століття, а в хорошому залі і хорошими музикантами – тим більше.

У столичному комплексі «Мистецький Арсенал» відбувся блискучий виступ камерного колективу «New Era Orchestra». Музиканти виступили для учасників Щорічних зборів Ради керівників ЄБРР. У першій частині концерту звучали мініатюри українських і зарубіжних композиторів. А у другому відділенні до інструменталістів приєдналась співачка Росава і вперше виступила з симфонічним колективом.

… In the second part of the concert together with Keiko Matsui declared symphonic orchestra «New Era Orchestra» sits with its full complement. Here fun was carried in general to the full extent. As on a stage one more female force, namely - the conductor of an orchestra Tetyana Kalinichenko was added. Here talent obvious and undoubtedly too - it is visible, that the presented musician fanatically given of profession, with strong and productive influence on an orchestra. She simply tore this orchestra to fine slices, did not spare even itself Keiko, and after each composition the hall blew up an applause literally, and toward the end public has arranged to musicians true ovation standing.

How can the performance of a symphony orchestra amaze its audience? After all, one would think that an orchestra performing classical music can only elicit the emotions of an audience through its level of master. The Kyiv-based New Era Orchestra conducted by Tetyana Kalinichenko is truly impressive in its performance of classical music.
Kalinichenko is not a typical academic conductor, on the contrary, she is extremely restless and active and has her own view on the interpretation of music of different eras and genres.

Conductor Tetyana Kalinichenko, perfectly owning skill of management of an orchestra, let and recently created, - does her work in a sweep, unfortunately, not peculiar to the majority of the Ukrainian conductors. She works with an orchestra as if, tomorrow it will play for the all world. So, actually, as it conductors, such, as outstanding maestro, as Gergiev, Muti, Temirkanov, Spivakov, Rostropovich. It not enthusiastic exaggeration. Quality of game of its musicians, highly artistic interpretation of partitas, tempo-rhythms, - all here is made by and large. It is visible not to an aided eye and it is audible even a unsophisticated ear, the conductor has how much strong and productive influence on an orchestra.
On this concert she in which already time has proved, that does not happen bad orchestras or musicians, and there are ordinary conductors. Therefore «New Era Orchestra» sounded, in a suite from a modernist style-ballet Evgenie Stankovicha's "Vikings" which opened a concert how the played collectives, at which behind shoulders many prestigious European and world stages sound for a long time.

На слухачів чекав справжній сюрприз від Тетяни Калиниченко. Ця найвідоміша в Україні жінка-диригент зібрала молодих виконавців у єдиний гурт «New Era Orchestra». Для презентації музиканти підготували новітні композиції, де класика переплелася з джазом та естрадою. Скрипалі й віолончелісти не просто видавали віртуозні мелодії, а й підспівували в унісон своїм інструментам. Публіка довго не відпускала виконавців, отож запланований сорокахвилинний концерт розтягнувся чи не вдвічі.

Organizers of a series of chamber evenings - the general director of PR-company "Babylon" Andrey Rizol and the general director of Investment agency of the real estate "World" Myroslava Shcherbyna - have laid down for themselves the aim not only to acquaint the Ukrainian public with original talents, but also to assist young musicians to make the way to the public, simply to leave on a big stage.
In due course evenings are going to devote not only to music, but also art opening, theatrical, literary and another, demanding only a push, correct representation, small promotion and the insignificant finance …
… And the main heroine of the first evening from a series "Art-collection" Babylon” nevertheless became conductor Tetyana Kalinichenko. Having strongly pronounced leader’s abilities so necessary for the conductor, Tetyana has shown all arsenal of the professional: virtuosity, power, passion, precise gesture, a bright, light timbre at string, very pleasant warm sound on silent music - in general everything, that testifies to the big and laborious work with an orchestra.
